In Javer we always seek to grow. Not only in presence but also in experience with actions oriented to social purposes. Therefore, with the help of Building and Growing, we inaugurated our first classroom for construction workers, gardeners, and community members. The main goal is to foster the importance of education and the values that will enable our people to make the right choices in the future.
Since 2006, Building and Growing has offered equipment for the installation and development of mobile classrooms on construction sites. Their presence is not only at the local level, but also at the national level.
This action is aligned with goal number 4 of the Sustainable Development Goals: Quality Education. In this way we reinforce our path towards sustainability by ensuring a balance between:
- Growth of the economy
- Respect for the environment
- Social welfare
Our classroom is located within the Valle de Lincoln subdivision, in the state of Nuevo León. In it, students have at their disposal advice for the completion of their basic and preparatory studies with official validity for the Ministry of Public Education (SEP). In addition to various courses of varied topics with curricular value. We are happy to share this action with our community, being a joint effort of three fundamental parts: organization, future students and JAVER.
The opening event was attended by different members of the Building and Growing team, the JAVER Social Responsibility team, managers and future students of the classroom. ¡We wish each of them every success so that they can finish their studies with satisfaction!
